CARE AND INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS
On receipt of your piece:
Wash with warm soapy water, try to avoid greasy fingers on the surface.
Place outside to weather/rust:
Rain water will start the rusting process. Colour leaching will occur for the first few months before a protective sealing coat is naturally formed to stop further eroding.
During this time keep away from concrete, walls, fences and clothing that may stain.
Corten weathers with time but the process can be sped up by spraying with salty water.
Each piece is individually made and as such will weather differently, giving you an organic look to your unique sculpture. Initially looking bright orange, corten weathers to a darker brown over time.

FOR WALL MOUNTED SCULPTURES
Included with your purchase are installation mounts for the smaller pieces. Using a suitable glue attach nipples to your piece. If your piece has its patina covering scratch back to original steel, then glue and place the nipple. Once dry, press gently against wall/fence or rub chalk on end to make a mark. Screw the other plastic mount into your substrate and click your piece into place.

FOR GROUND/ LARGER SCULPTURES
For larger pieces it is recommended that you put a boxing around the foot of the sculpture ,brace with supports, checking with a spirit level, then pour concrete around the base.
Your sculpture will have a degree of movement with the wind, which adds another dimension. Please take care as the steel may have rough edges and sharp corners.
Corten steel is compatible with Stainless steel but not with galvanized,
galvalume or zinc.

Once you receive your piece, we can no longer be liable for damage that may occur during installation or subsequent damage, to property or people.
If the product is faulty or damaged on arrival, we are happy to replace. No refund will be given if you simply change your mind about your purchase.
